‘Breaking Dawn - Part 1,' The Beginning Of The End

By Karina Kurani
Entertainment, Review:
Well Twi-fans... it’s the beginning of the end. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 opened in theaters November 18, 2011 and up until the day, myself, along with a ba-gillion other Twilight-fanatics, could barely contain our excitement.

The five-film saga, which has become a worldwide phenomenon, centers around the love triangle of a young woman, a vampire, and a werewolf, played by Kristen StewartRobert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner

In the latest movie of the popular Twilight series, the bond between characters Edward Cullen (Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Stewart) stand stronger than ever before. With more tension than the previous movies, Breaking Dawn - Part 1 comes with more adult, human issues such as pregnancy and marriage.

Aside from this infamous “love scene,” Bella’s birthing scene (in which her body is literally broken apart) is another boundary-pusher for the saga's teen crowd to experience. Yet all agreed, Breaking Dawn was the most difficult to transform onto the big screen while avoiding an R-rating.

One of the most anticipated scenes of course was Edward and Bella's wedding, which was intended to be more playful. With all the tension on set, Stewart admitted she kept reminding herself not to over think and actually experience the wedding.

“The scene is pretty intense. This is what Edward has been waiting for hundreds of years,” says Pattinson while promoting the movie.

There are also new characters introduced in the film such as Edward and Bella’s daughter Renesmee, played by the adorable Mackenzie Foy.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 Earns $139.5 Million in Its Debut Weekend
The honeymoon of Edward and Bella was shot in Brazil unlike the first three movies that were filmed mostly in Canada. And finally, we get to see Bella become a vampire as Edward fulfills her wish to become immortal.

One of our favorites yet, Part 1 basically sets the stage for an all-out battle... Guess we’ll have to keep holding our breath for Part 2 to see what happens next, Twi-hards.

Still out in theaters, there’s no doubt the latest Twilight flick will continue its box-office momentum while unraveling the creative minds of its audience. Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on November 16, 2012.

TWILIGHT IS THE BEST!

Great writer, picks up on all important details,
If only there were more like this one. All the critics are so negative all the time, wish they would limit some of the comments, just because they don't like the franchise, doesn't mean the movie is badly made!
Grow up!
