fixated.

Lately, I've become quite fixated on an individual. Never been big on public displays of affection nor being very open about who completes me. My thought is, "if I want you to know, I will tell you." It's pretty simple and never personal.

It takes A LOT for myself to ever become fixated or obsessed with one. I feel that obsession (when it's mutual) is beautiful, like Romeo & Juliet.

With that said, I rarely rarely rarely become fixated and/or obsessed with anyone... lately, I feel fixated and I like it. It's completely uncontrollable and I love/hate it.

This is the beauty of emotion. Emotions are strong and usually uncontrollable. Sometimes the emotions are what you want, most of the time (I feel) they're not what you want.

These are emotions I want. They are difficult to tolerate though.

We will have to see what the future has en store.

The Day of the Dog & Baby

Did the Dog & Baby buffet last weekend at The Silver Spoon in Westwood.
We had a ton of fun! Lots of random stuff for dogs you would never even think existed. Yeaaah, FROZEN YOGURT for dogs! Who woulda' thought! There were a ton of beautiful puppies for adoption, that was the hard part... bonding with the lovely pups, I wanted to take them all home! PLEASE ALWAYS ADOPT, PEOPLE! Those poor orphan pups need homes!

MAN OH MAN.......

Has everyone heard the very common saying, "life is too short?" It's simple and short, yet amazing and true. I try to remember that simple little saying everyday of my life to remember not to stress the little things. I have currently experienced a situation where myself and another loved one have been shut out, by another loved one, for no mature legitimate reason. A loved one (who will remain unknown) has been struggling for some time now to make peace with the other party and her attempts are continuously not good enough. There is only so much one can do to make things right with another party and then it's just they're own issue. I remain neutral throughout the years and told myself they would work it out in time and it's not my business... however, one of the parties that has been involved with this long lasting dispute has decided to add me to their "shit list" as well. Now when you alienate two good people, two loved ones at that, then it's time for the person doing the alienating to remember that, "life is too short" and to really think about if all the bitterness is really worth it.

Even though I have been added to the "shit list" of someone I extremely care about, not even knowing what I could have done to hurt this person, I know that I need to move on with my life. "Life is too short" and I can not and will not spend it trying to fix things between myself and someone who can't even talk to me about what they're upset with me about in the first place. As adults, we need to be just that and deal with situations accordingly.

So, with that being said and out of the way, I've actually been having a pretty great day and I'm really excited about my birthday coming up NEXT WEEK! I'm going to be 23.. crazy right?! AND I have a NEW song coming out soon titled, "Seduction City!" I can't wait for it to be all finished and ready to go! Soon, I promise!

I hope everyone out there is doing well and SORRY for venting to you all, but I needed some online therapy! It worked too because once I put something in writing, it totally takes it off my mind and I feel better so thanks for listening! :)
