Amy Winehouse Found Dead In London Apartment

Amy Winehouse
The singer parishes after long addiction struggle.

Amy Winehouse was found dead today (July 23rd) inside her London apartment.

The intoxicating songstress, just 27-years-old, was ironically the same age that mysteriously claimed the lives of other troubled musicians Janis JoplinKurt CobainJim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix.

A release issued by the Metropolitan Police states:
Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased. On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.
Sad, sad, sad!

According to Scotland Yard, there are no signs of foul play at the singers London apartment. An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow to determine the cause of Winehouse’s death.

Her dying at the age of 27 is the only thing she had in common with any of the legends you listed. She was a freak and will be forgotten in no time., except by those that liked her music. No "Hall of Fame" material there...

@Anonymous They were other trouble musicians that struggled with drugs and alcohol. What more “in common" do you need? Troubled means troubled. Regardless of her being a “freak” or maybe less of an icon she was a person that struggled like many others before her.

Some people have no heart. Poor girl!! RIP
