Gisele Launches Lingerie Line In Brazil

Fashion, News:

Just in case the massive $45 million Gisele
Bundchen made in 2010 wasn’t enough, the bombshell is launching a new lingerie line with Brazilian label Hope.

As the face of the label, Bundchen has a lot of duties for Hope: walking in their fashion show, posing for their ads, and now designing her own line of bras and panties. To be honest, I don’t know that there’s anyone I trust more than Gisele to design my undies, seeing that she spends a lot of time prancing around in hers.

The collection, called Gisele Bündchen Brazilian Intimates, will hit Hope retailers in Brazil on May 25. There’s no sign yet as to what the designs will look like, but knowing Gisele’s penchant for slinky, sexy styles, it’s likely to be hot. Unfortunately, Gisele will not pose for the print ads or look book for her line.

So how much will it cost you to get a pair of panties designed by Gisele? R40, and bras will retail for R100. Sorry, Americans, that currency is the Brazilian Real, as in “really only going to be sold in Brazil.” (But for inquiring minds, that’s about $24.74 for the panties and $61.84 for the bras.)

We wonder how Victoria’s Secret feels about this….
