Trouble in paradise, girls?
Well, it's not exactly something we'd call "trouble" but believe it or not, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are having trouble keeping up with the supply and demand of their very in demand line, The Row. The lines new accessories collection has already sold out of it's alligator skin backpack that retails for a whopping $39,000!
So who the HELL is buying this backpack?!
Expensive as the must-have alligator skin Hermes Birkin bag, which can cost as much as $40,000, Ashley tells WWD:
"It was the first thing that sold off the shelf."
Ash also stated that it was often only the most high-end brands that were able to thrive during an economic crisis. She says:
"During our last economic crisis in the U.S., the only thing that went up was Hermes."
Barney's New York fashion director Amanda Brooks tells Fashionista.com:
"I think if you were ever going to spend $39,000 on a bag, that's the bag you should buy because I think you'd wear it for a really long time.
There's enough design to make it interesting and beautiful but they truly are classic bags - and I think you also might be the only one who has it."
The high-end department store had pre-ordered two of the must-have backpacks before the collection even went on sale.
Well, the Olsens sure have come along way since their days of selling the Mary-Kate & Ashley brand at Target.
So, while the obsessive fashionistas sell their homes in order to purchase the must-have backpack, we're thinking something from Louis Vuitton will suit just fine.

Its only the Hiltons and Kardashians of the world that can afford this shit. That and maybe Prince William bought one for his new bride. The rest of the world is suffering financially.
