They’re fashion’s biggest stars yet Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have never appeared on the cover of Vogue Magazine.
Well, their moment has finally come. The 25-year-old fashion moguls have landed their famous pouts on the the cover of Vogue Magazine’s ‘Best Dressed’ issue, on stands November 15th.
MK + Ash, voted Vogue’s Best Dressed, beat out other stylish siblings including Dakota and Elle Fanning (No. 2), Beyonce and Solange Knowles (No. 7), Kate and Pippa Middleton (No. 9) and Rooney and Kate Mara (No. 10).
"It's been a year of sisters, most famously with Catherine and Pippa Middleton.”
He calls the Olsen choice “kind of a no-brainer,” explaining simply:
"Are there any more chic, stylish, cool, and original sisters than Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen?”
That’s easy. Nope!
He continues:
"They (the Olsens) get it right a lot of the time and then sometimes they don't get it right. That's actually great because it shows that it's their hands reaching into their wardrobes.
They don't have someone telling them, 'This is cool, this is hot, this is what you should be wearing.' It comes from within them. It's instinctual.”
And that’s what we love about them. Their bold creativity and effortless individuality is subduing.
