Reese Witherspoon Offers Up Advise To “Make It In Hollywood” At The Expense Of Sex Tape-Making Reality Stars

As much as we hate to say it, we were starting to feel that Reese Witherspooon was getting to be just a little bit boring (and we love Reese!). I mean, the mother of two was the first gal in a movie we fell in love with when she co-starred alongside Mark Wahlberg in the 1996 film, Fear
Well, the recently married starlet just got a bit more interesting stirring the Hollywood pot last night at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles.

Last night (June 5th), Reese took the stage at the Gibson Amphitheater to accept MTV's Generation Award for her work in countless films since the early '90s. Presenting the actresses award was former Witherspoon co-stars Patrick Dempsey and Robert Pattitson along with BFF Chelsea Handler

In addition to a couple thank yous, Witherspoon offered up a little friendly advise for girls who one day hope to make it in Hollywood. Reese, 35, told the crowd as she accepted her award:
“I get it, girls, that it’s cool to be a bad girl, but it is possible to make it in Hollywood without doing a reality show. When I came up in this business, if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it under your bed.”
And she didn’t stop there. She continues:
“And if you took naked pictures of yourself on your cell phone, you hide your face, people! Hide your face!”
Uh-hum, Blake Lively

After a bold acceptance speech, the actress then offered a message — and a plea — to the “good” girls.
So, for all the girls out there, it’s totally possible to be a good girl,” the “Water for Elephants” star added. “I’m going to try to make it cool.”
Oh Reese, how we love you.

Weather it was too much booze or just her planned acceptance speech, America’s sweetheart said exactly what was on her mind and for the whole world to hear.

This is hilarious! She's so right and it's great to see someone finally acknowledge that. Especially of her talent and status as an actual talent.
