Think back to the last time you heard a new track from Gwen Stefani. Been a while, hasn’t it?
Her last solo album, “The Sweet Escape,” came out five years ago, and it seems she's all but said "Hollaback" to being a lone musician.
The No Doubt frontwoman sat down with Entertainment Weekly for this week's issue along with guitarist Tom Dumont, bassist Tony Kanal and drummer Adrian Young, and explained that her foray into being a solo artist wasn't meant to be an ongoing thing.
“That was a moment in time,” she said. “It went on a little longer than we all thought it would because it was inspired and you have to go with wherever you’re at in that time in your life….everything works out how it should.”
Are you going to miss a solo Stefani?
