Original cuts "I Felt Stupid" and "Instruct Me" see the world in the same way as The Tough Alliance, but their post-war optimism rides on the pink, paradise island surf of Bernard Sumner guitar lines, while the Balearic spirit is upheld in the band's own remix of "Best Friend", synths burbling away so contentedly, so relentlessly buoyant.--RCRDLBL
