Sir. Johnny Depp For Vanity Fair, Shot By Terry Richardson

Entertainment, Icon:

Johnny, my Johnny.

Hollywood messiah and film legend Johnny Depp covers the November 2011 issue American Vanity Fair

In the issue, Jon-Jon spills on channeling Hunter S. Thompson in his latest flick, The Rum Diary, what revs him up and what flips him out: a simple cover shoot.

This time around, Depp’s cover shoot was shot by none other than photography prodigy Terry Richardson

As Hollywood’s best-paid actor, Depp tells the mag that he doesn’t have to like it.

He says:

“Basically, if they’re going to pay me the stupid money right now, I’m going to take it. I have to. I mean, it’s not for me. Do you know what I mean? At this point, it’s for my kids. it’s ridiculous, yeah, yeah. But ultimately is it fo rme? No. No. It’s for the kids.”

Well according to Reuters, Depp has already walked away with a cool $300ish million for his  Pirates days.

Welp, have fun, kids!

The issue hits newsstands nationally and via iPad October 11th.
